Leoben, August 5. Today we travelled to the mining city Leoben. The minister of its protestant parish welcomes us and introduces us to our city guide, a charming Hungarian. Our hobby geologist is in particular fond of her. We are astonished by the Montan university and the martyr statues in the catholic church. Afterwards we are greeted by a delicious lunch. Next appointment: The brewery in Göss, with a guided tour through its museum, followed by a beer tasting. And not only our choir leader on the piano takes notice, that even a small pint is enough to prolong the reaction time while singing... Lucky for us that the church has a strong reverberation, so that we had to sing slower anyway. And the audience is numerous and delighted. Pleasant encounters during dinner, a tiring travel back to Graz.
