Wien-Simmering, August 9. Since we already have to think about our tour back home, we declare this Saturday as hiking day. The aim is intentionally left open in case our stamina fades. A resting third of the group strolls through Mödling and pack their things in all tranquility. An active third starts shortly before 9am to a SkyWalk nearby and rests afterwards at a host family with swimming pool. The classical hiking third starts a tour on the Anninger, a mountain close to Mödling. Then we move from the meadows of Mödling to the large city. Our last concert is in the Viennian quarter Simmering. The group look a bit tired, however, our youngest fellow traveller, just 6 month old, puts us into good humour with rattles and laughter. It is not to become our best concert, also not our best attended concert (in the city...), but it is still very nice. Afterwards we have a pleasant dinner, talks and a final serenade to our choir leader.
